The course is being run in person to allow attendees understand the intricacies of the tool and how to evaluate difficult scenarios like refinancing, mixed use buildings and cross national portfolios. On the day Irish Sustainability practitioners will outline their experience of utilising the tool to evaluate the climate impact of large portfolios and identify a pathway to 2030 targets and net zero goals. Last years event was attended by almost 30 professionals in finance, sustainability and real estate. This year the focus will be in the environmental metrics required by the CSRD Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive and in particular the need to generate accurate decarbonisation planning targets and the importance of evaluating the investment impact from inaction.
